The Atlantic Coast Championships were held at St. Mary’s November 14-15. Saturday featured big breeze and the Rams moved to the front early with Rachel and Marisa in A and Sarah and Courtney Bombardier in B. URI lead from start to almost the finish, but succumbed to a furious rally by Dartmouth to end in a tie, losing the tie breaker. Rachel, with Marisa and Hannah crewing, won A again. While losing the lead was a disappointment and the ladies knew that they had let this one get away, they are now getting used to being in front and will be much tougher next time.
The Lady Rams remain #1 in the country heading into the winter break.
